目前，对于行业比较常用的SCR全桥并联逆变中频电源，变压器容量和电源的数值关系：变压器容量的数值 = 电源功率的数值 x 1.2，对于IGBT半桥串联逆变中频电源也叫一拖二中频炉，一台熔炼、一台保温两台同时工作。

目前1000KW 以下的中频电源一般采用三相五线制 380V，50HZ 工业用电，配置 6 脉冲单整流中频电源；对于 1000KW 以上的中频电源一般使用 660V 进线电压，部分厂家也会使用575V 或 750V，但是这是非标电压登记，在购买配件的时候有难度，不建议选用。

配置 12 脉冲的双整流中频电源可以通过提高进线电压提高额定工作电压，大功率产生的谐波会干扰电网，通过双整流可以获得较为平直的直流电流，负载电流为矩形波，负载电压接近正弦波，减少电网干扰对其他装置的冲击。不能盲目追求高电压，低电流以达到节约能源的目的，这样会缩短中频炉的使用寿命，造成电元件寿命算短，不利于持续成长。
