中频电炉壁捣筑，每次加料前，先将接触面刮毛，底层加料深度不能大于150mm，以便能和底部更好筑成一体。底层以上部加料100～130mm，捣筑30min左右，依次振捣直到筑炉结束。先用叉后用铲，叉要垂直叉下，垂直拔起，不能摇晃，每一圈分3层叉，即靠坩埚一层、靠胶泥一层，中间一层。捣筑人员要交叉作业，用力均匀。
Before
each feeding, the contact surface of the intermediate frequency
electric furnace wall should be scraped and the bottom feeding depth
should not exceed 150mm, in order to better integrate with the bottom.
Add 100-130mm of material above the bottom layer, and vibrate for about
30min until the furnace is completed. Use a fork first and then a
shovel. The fork should be vertically forked down and pulled out without
shaking. Each turn should be divided into three layers of forks, one
layer against the crucible, one layer against the adhesive, and one
layer in the middle. The ramming personnel should cross work and apply
even force.

Because
the furnace bottom bears the highest temperature, and after a certain
period of use, a groove will form at the bottom, and the upper part of
the groove will become the furnace wall. If the ramming is not dense, it
is easy to cause furnace leakage.
中频电炉的炉衬材料不能拆开包装后直接加入炉膛内。备一个容器（容量为15袋左右炉料），把多袋料倒在一起混合、彻底搅拌，把炉料中可能存在的纸片、线头等杂物拣出，并用高磁铁把炉料处理一遍。中频电炉筑炉前，认真检查筑炉工具，不能有铁锈和掉渣现象存在。
The
lining material of the medium frequency electric furnace cannot be
unpacked and directly added to the furnace. Prepare a container (with a
capacity of about 15 bags of furnace material), mix multiple bags of
materials together, thoroughly stir, and pick out any debris such as
paper and thread that may exist in the furnace material. Use a high
magnet to process the furnace material once. Before constructing the
medium frequency electric furnace, carefully inspect the furnace
building tools to ensure that there is no rust or slag falling.
改进中频电炉的炉底结构，改善传热效果我们根据生产工艺条件制订出合理的加热温度制度，以利于钢坯的传热交换。在段式加热炉中采用扼流梁和炉底墙，保证各段的温度范围，提耐火材的辐射效益。为此，改进了炉内水管的包扎方式，新的包扎方式虽然增加了施工难度，但提了水管的使用寿命，由原来的2，3个月延长到1年，而且绝热性较好，减少了冷却水带走的热量。
To
improve the bottom structure of the medium frequency electric furnace
and improve the heat transfer effect, we have formulated a reasonable
heating temperature system based on production process conditions to
facilitate the heat transfer and exchange of steel billets. Choke beams
and furnace bottom walls are used in the segmented heating furnace to
ensure the temperature range of each section and improve the radiation
efficiency of refractory materials. To this end, the wrapping method of
the water pipes in the furnace has been improved. Although the new
wrapping method increases the difficulty of construction, it prolongs
the service life of the water pipes from the original 2-3 months to 1
year, and has good insulation, reducing the heat carried away by the
cooling water.
